There are several open neutral Internet exchanges operating in New Zealand where participants can find others who wish to exchange IP traffic in a cost effective manner.

By peering at an Exchange you agree to provide routing information about your networks to other Exchange participants to optimise traffic flows across that Exchange. For more details of this agreement see the ExchangeNET Terms and Conditions

In order to participate at an Exchange, you need to be attached to that Exchange switch, have a router capable of running BGP/4, and a block of IP numbers that are yours to route (at least a /24).
